Body Contouring & Cellulite Treatment by Vaser Shape
What is VASER® Shape? How does it differ from other non-invasive treatments?
VASER Shape is a non-invasive ultrasound therapy treatment that smoothes, firms and shapes the body. Vaser Shape reduces cellulite, and increases local blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. The treatment uses ultrasound waves to warm the targeted area and treat the underlying fatty tissue. It then uses zonal lymphatic massage to drain away excess toxins and lipids for removal from the body.
Unlike other non-invasive body shaping procedures, VASER Shape is a comfortable massage-like treatment that only requires three to five sessions for remarkable results.
How Many Treatment Sessiosn will I need?
Generally 3-5 treatments are required to achieve the desired results. Treatments are performed 5-8 days apart and one maintenance treatment is generally required every 5-6 months to maintain the results. Please call us to schedule your complimentary consultation and evaluation for Vaser Shape cellulite and body contouoring treatment.
What is Cellulite?
Cellulite is the bumpy, dimpled collection of fat usually around the buttocks, abs and thighs that pushes the connective tissue beneath the skin which causes the changes in appearance of the outer layer of the skin. Cellulite is much more common in women than men because of differences in the way fat, muscle and connective tissue are distributed under the skin.
What Causes Cellulite?
Cellulite results from enlarged packets of body fat–deposited deep underneath the skin–that push up against the underlying connective tissue. When the underlying fat cells balloon up, it limits the space under the skin, which places upward pressure on the connective tissue.
That pressure forces the fat right up against the top layers of skin, pushing it upwards, and creates a visibly dimpled look on the surface. When multiple fat compartments expand, multiple hills pop up, and cellulite spreads across a wider surface area.
Factors that influence how much cellulite you have and how visible it is include:
Poor diet
Fad dieting
Slow metabolism
Lack of physical activity
Hormone changes
Dehydration
Total body fat
Thickness and color of your skin
